I attended the Boston concert and at song break intervals alarmingly bright and blinding spotlights were turned on the audience. I don’t know who thought that was a good idea. It wasn’t. It was migraine inducing.

BOCELLI DISAPPOINTS IN PHX
Disappointing concert...started late, no program listing songs and performers, Andrea seemed "flat", song selection was too sentimental. Son Matteo is a hunk but not a great singer...daughter was cute. Not worth the ticket price in this concert goers opinion

ANDREA BOCELLI 6/16/22
Disappointing to say the least because the 1st half of the concert was all opera selections, and if you don't know opera, like my wife, you're lost. There were no written programs, or at least the name of the selections up on the monitors, not to mention subtitles. And to be explaining the program to someone while it's going on is impossible.
Will not see again from Las Vegas, Nevada
NOT WORTH THE MONEY OR TROUBLE
More than half the songs were sung by his children, very disappointed

DISAPPOINTED
Spent a small fortune to purchase floor seats with a great view of the stage. The concert started a half-hour late (typical, I now read in other reviews). Late start, 8:30 pm. The first set included 4 songs performed by Bocelli. The half-hour break started 30 minutes after the start (really?!). MUCH of the show was performed by other singers, dancers, a matador. All very good but not what we came for. One singer continuously touged at her very tight dress (clearly not comfortable for her or us). Bocelli sang beautifully - - though the one song recognized by all in the audience ("Time to Say Goodbye") was not performed until the second standing ovation. The (over and over and over again) graphics and film (played over and over and over agina) on panels on the stage before the concert and during the intermission was tedious and way too repetitive. Bocelli made no attempt to connectd with his audience. All in all, he's very talented but the show had ZERO magic.

DISAPPOINTING
I was so looking forward to seeing Bocelli in concert. At 8:00 the arena was sparse (there were 4 seats occupied on my row) and thinking the concert started at 8:00 (per my ticket), I was shocked. Assumed I misread the ticket as people started pouring in at 8:15-8;25. (Indeed, it appears the show was supposed to start at 8:00). Mr. Bocelli came out and sang about 3 operatic songs, then left the stage while another opera singer sang. This pattern continued with Mr. Bocelli alternating with a violinist, another opera singer, and dancers on the side of the stage during the first half. In addition, a painter was painting a portrait of Mr. Bocelli while he sang a song (for audience bid to go to a charity). The overhead screens, various entrances and exits, and lighting were distracting. There was no interaction with the audience during the first half. The description of the production needs to be clearer (e.g., that Mr. Bocelli doesn't sing during the entirety of the show, that there will be other unnamed performers frequently interspersed and that, at least, during the first half, all songs were opera - lovely, but was assuming a variety - maybe this was focus of 2nd half of the show. I left, when after, about 30-45 minutes of Mr. Bocelli and various other entertainer performances, a 20-minute intermission was announced.
