Heading out on tour this fall

The Des McAnuff helmed bio-musical of the queen of Disco, Donna Summer, is heading out on its first national tour this fall! Dan'yelle Williamson as Diva Donna, Alex Hairston as Disco Donna and Olivia Elease Hardy as Duckling Donna will lead the cast, sharing the role of Donna Summer at different points of the disco diva's life and career. 

Dan'yelle Williamson's previous Broadway credits include Memphis, Scandalous and Rocky with Alex Hairston last appearing on Broadway in Beautiful: The Carole King Musical, her additional stage credits include the national tour of Motown the Musical. This national tour of Summer: The Donna Summer Musical will be Olivia Elease Hardy's first major professional credit!

With a book Colman Domingo, Robert Cary and Des McAnuff Summer: The Donna Summer Musical features the hits of Donna Summer, so expect to hear tunes like "She Works Hard for the Money", "Hot Stuff", "Bad Girls", and "No More Tears (Enough is Enough)".

The musical, which ran on Broadway last year, is choreographed by Sergio Trujillo and garnered two Tony award nominations for original stars for LaChanze and Ariana DeBose.
